The farm stands in the countryside surrounding Caraffa di Catanzaro, one of the most ancient “arberesh” towns, founded in 1448 by Albanian people.The farm property develops on the hills close to the Ionian sea and gives hospitality to many cultivations (olive grove, vineyard, vegetables and fruits) and to a wood where autochthonous species like wild pear and rowan tree live together with over 100 species of Mediterranean flora.
The paths that go across the fields and woods let the guest have long walks through the farm property.It is possible to take part in courses of creative kitchen as well as floral decoration. Not far from the farm the guest will find riding grounds and tennis clubs.
Remarkable places to visit in the neighbourhood are historical and archaeological sites such as Roccelletta di Borgia, Squillace, Le Castella, Capo Colonna, Stilo, Serra San Bruno as well as famous seaside resorts and tourist centres such as Soverato and Tropea. |
