The agriturismo

In the heart of Abruzzo’s hills, the farmhouse Rosso di Sera invites you for a unique and relaxing experience in the countryside. You can taste a lot of products such as wine, extra-virgin olive oil, jam and all the fresh fruits and vegetables. And naturally, in the evening, you will enjoy the red sunset (“Rosso di Sera”) flaming over the Bella Addormentata’s (Sleeping Beauty’s) chain.

The accommodation

In the farmhouse there are elegant and comfortable bedrooms named after important writers of the Abruzzi land: “Modesto Della Porta”, “Ignazio Silone”, “Ennio Flaiano” and “Gabriele D’Annunzio”. Each bedroom has bathroom with extra-large shower, air conditioning, inter-phone.

You can meet together in the living room around the big fireplace, or lend a book from the guests library and read it in the garden, under the shadows of an age-old oak.

Activities and surrounding

You can take part in the farming experience of the season: olive picking and oil making, grape picking and wine making, vegetable and fruits picking, wheat harvesting.

You will be able to visit the most beautiful old cities of Abruzzo, explore the National Parks of Maiella and Gran Sasso, visit the retreat of Pope Celestino V and the abbeys of San Clemente a Casauria e Santa Maria di Arabona,  swim in the Adriatic waters and savor regional dishes and wines.
