The agriturismo
The italian farm 'The Millstones' is located in Abruzzo, surrounded by an astonishing scenery, between the blue Adriatic sea and the gently-sloping hills.
The accommodation
In this 45-hectare easy-to-reach farm revives the charm of a small countryside hamlet, with cereal cultivation, orchards and olive groves, a lake, a wood and lovely-restored cottages.
The rooms , are all furnished with care, since keeping the country houses simplicity; each room is different in name and furnishings: restored wrought iron beds, wooden heads and country style night tables just to let you feel as at home.
The hospitality is as well offered in three types of different sized apartments: Mono, Bilo and Trilo, in order to welcome you in the best and most comfortable way.
The nice swimming-pool, the wood-burning oven, the barbecue, the famous typical cuisine and the kind hospitality, here is the ideal setting for an unforgettable holiday.
Activities and surrounding
The farm offers to its guests the possibility to spend very pleasant days: the swimming-pool with hydro massage in front of the sea, the solarium and the chess-table under the pergola, the bowling-alley, the ping-pong and soccer-table, a beautiful inn with a small library, the laundry-room, the kids playground and the cosy and panoramic kitchenette-inn at all the guests disposal for little breaks or babies needs.
The pleasant end very appreciated theme evenings under the starry sky of the countryside and the atmosphere of a holidays in a “family”, together with the beauty of the sea and the beaches (6Km), the close artistical and historical towns (Atri, Silvi, Loreto, L'Aquila), the typical markets and “sagre” and the wild nature of the Parks (Gran Sasso National Parks, 40 Km).

We only stayed one day stopping over on a trip to Italy. Great welcome, good size pool, clean and shady. Simple but good quality restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff. Room large, cool and well equipped.

We stayed a week in one of the two-bedroom apartments. Relaxation nature and landscape are the masters. The only flaw instead of having a single bed and a sofa bed I would recommend a bunk bed. We also eat very well and the staff is of infinite kindness. Thank you!
