Cefalicchio Country House

The Villa, whose ancient structure has been lovingly restored, has retained its original furnishings.

Two mini-apartments directly opposite the swimming-pool, two suites overlooking the big terrace that runs round the villa, five double rooms next to the “belvedere”.

An impressive stone stairway leads to a terrace that runs around the entire perimeter of the main floor, where large rooms full of light have maintained their nineteenth-century appearance. A “belvedere” offers a fine view as far as the Murge and the Apulian Plateau.

At the back of the villa, the farmyard is the area devoted to agricultural activities.

Apulian cuisine is obviously a favourite at the country house, and many of the raw materials come from the estate. From olive oil to wine, from vegetables to fruits, from poultry to herbs: it takes just a short walk to see where it  is grown most of what  is on your table.

Pine trees separate the house from the swimming-pool, a simple basin set in the tufa rock and surrounded by olive trees, cypresses and aromatic shrubs.

In the Spa, guests can choose between a range of gratifying multi-sensory sensations: the relaxing, detoxifying warmth of a hammam, aromatherapy, expertly performed ayurvedic massages and a range of tonifying face and body treatments. Alone or with your partner, you can count on the absolute privacy we all need to regain the subtle, delicate balance that makes for individual wellbeing.
