Antica Masseria Pescu

The farmhouse, built in the 1700s on the Murgia (hill), which overlooks the town of Presicce, is composed of a central "L" shaped building where the owners live, and where 6 spacious rooms were derived from old stables. The ceilings are all vaulted and the walls are quite thick, in order to ensure coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter. The rooms, equipped with every comfort (TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, bathroom with shower, hairdryer), are furnished with simplicity, without neglecting our taste for craftsman wood furniture, a carpet knotted by hand or a canvass; silence and relaxation are guaranteed in these rooms (king-size bed with an orthopaedic mattress). Each room has a private entrance and outside covered patio, equipped with table and chairs, from which you can enjoy a beautiful, panoramic view.
The area is always pleasantly ventilated (which also limits the mosquito population in the summer).

In front of the main building of the farmhouse, in a panoramic position at the top of the slope, is the swimming pool (about 100mq), equipped with beds, tables and chairs: a small gazebo offers shelter when the sun is too strong; those who love the shade can take refuge in the relaxing oasis in the woods, among live oaks and carob trees. From the main building of the farm, descending the short slope among the Indian figs, agaves and shrub bushes, you will reach the stables and the paddock, alongside a building originally used to manufacture tobacco building in which a one room and two apartments with  two bedrooms (LODGES) have been derived.
The lodges are furnished in the same style of the farm-house and have a complete equipped cooking area, an external equipped veranda and a stone built barbecue.

Finally, at the edge of the forest, an ancient building (probably dating back to the fourteenth century) above the underground oil mill, dug into the rock by hand, witnessed the production and processing of olive oil.
