In an old farmhouse in the Salento countryside, surrounded by lawns shaded by a pine forest and 2 km from the sea between Lecce and Otranto: this organic, sustainable farm was created in 1960 and transformed into an agriturismo in 1983.
Located on a small plateau, the agriturismo looks over a stretch of olive trees to the towns of Salentinian Greece, a region which, during August, is filled with music and folklore with the famous Notte della Taranta festival.
Guests can choose from the campsite, rooms, bungalows or apartments.
The agriturismo offers 3 three room apartments and 2 two room apartments, all light and spacious; 4 bungalows (2 with 2/3 beds and kitchenette, bathroom and dedicated parking space, and 2 with 4 beds comprising of: 2 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette); 5 rooms with verandas from 2 to 4 beds.
The farm grows fruit and vegetables, cereals and olives, and also produces extra virgin olive oil, durum wheat flour, and Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera di Lecce wines. During the summer months, the orchard is opened up to guests. There are seasonal fruits to be gathered, which can be enjoyed straight from the tree or in the restaurant. The farm also produces jams which are used in its desserts and breakfasts, or sold in the shop alongside a range of other produce.
