The Masseria became the residence of The Marquis Felicetto DeNoha, personal assistant to the Pope. Then, by the end of the 1800s the Doctor Pietro Villani, a renowned medic, was in residence. His close friend, the famous tenor Tito Schipa, was welcomed annually as a guest at the Masseria.
