The agriturismo
An olive oil producer located in the archaic fiefdom of Melendugno in the heart of Salento, 3 km from the marinas of San Foca and Torre dell’Orso between the cities of Lecce and Otranto.
Lovers of country retreats will delight in a superbly relaxing holiday among the quiet of the ancient olive groves, accommodated in cosy and comfortably furnished apartments.
The accommodation
The farm, which produces organic olive oil, and the annexed restaurant are part of the Campagna Amica programme, an initiative promoted by the Coldiretti farmers' association to promote zero food miles agricultural products and services in deference to tradition and the utmost environmental respect.
The farm produces extra virgin olive oil, vegetables and a range of preserves that can be enjoyed in the recently restructured historic oil mill converted to house a restaurant in which classic Salento dishes are enhanced with creative flair and innovation.
