The farm offers the opportunity to combine a relaxing holiday in contact with nature, long walks in between the green of the woods and hills.

The company, included in the "Didactic Farms" has the goal of creating a stronger link between agriculture and school, to inform the agricultural environment and the work of the farmer, the origin of foodstuffs and animal life.
During the workshops the children prepare bread, cakes and homemade pasta, sausages, seasoning and learn the various steps leading to the “salame”. Children can also explore the social organization of bees, the hive and get the hives, the work in contact with these insects and the process of honey extraction. A path leads to the pits with a number of farm animals (peacocks, geese, pheasants, guinea fowl) where children can get close.

At about 3 km. release from the town of Picerno you can enjoy the outdoor swimming pool open all year.

Picerno, 18 km away. from Potenza, 700 m above sea level, stands on three hills and allows you to enjoy a beautiful view. A feature of the streets of the old town is made up of portals ancient aristocratic houses. Among the streets you can admire the medieval towers of cylindrical form that dominates the village.

Recommended excursions:
-Monti FOJ (8 km. To the top a1350 m) with beech woods and picnic areas and parking, is an area rich in pastures, traditionally indicated for the transhumance of cattle bred Podolica, which is Picerno known for the production of dairy products (as well as the presence of numerous sausage). Remember the iazzi and the farmhouse where cheese and dairy products are prepared with traditional techniques.
