The agriturismo

An agriturismo in Nocera Terinese, in the province of Catanzaro, very close to the sea. A project which combines high quality agriculture with haute cuisine: part of a 50 hectare estate, the farm produces extra virgin olive oil and table olives, as well as aromatic herbs, vegetables, citrus fruits and avocados.

The accommodation

The accommodation is spread over two areas: the main farm, with 2 scenic apartments and a wellness area with swimming pool and spa, plus a 60-seater conference room, and the new area in Località Pietra di Grotta di Nocera Terinese, where you’ll find a restaurant, shop and guests rooms surrounded by greenery with a characteristic rocky spur, bordered by a river with waterfalls.

Apartments include kitchens and bathrooms, and the Coloni apartment is accessible to guests with reduced mobility. WiFi is included in the price, and a selection of mini bar items are available for an additional cost. The agriturismo boasts an undercover heated swimming pool (11 x 5.5 metres, 1.4 m deep, with counter-current swimming, separate whirlpool for 6 and a 3 person sauna). Massages are available, subject to booking.

Activities and surrounding

On the educational farm you can find out how the crops are cultivated and learn about the land, respect for the environment and how to make good food choices.

The educational complex includes a Baldeschi&Sandreani electric mill which dates back to the 1930s-1940s, a traditional water mill, a classroom, lunch room and outside space with botanical trail and flowerbeds. The farm can accommodate groups of up to 40 children.

You can also visit the Ventura Mill (free of charge), a cereal mill with over 500 years of history.

A selection of different activities are available, depending on the time of year, from yoga classes to guided tours of the farm, tasting of artisan beer and extra virgin olive oil, cookery classes and eco-walks.
