A country house in Montalto Uffugo, 26 km from Camigliatello Silano, with stunning scenic views of the Crati Valley and La Sila.

On request, there are unforgettable excursions, philosophical walks and personalised cookery classes, during which you'll find yourself inspired by the little-known side of Calabria and the kindness of owners and guests: Roberta Caruso, a philosophical entrepreneur runs the first Calabrian co-living establishment, where the rooms of this traditional farmhouse welcome artists, digital nomads and inspired tourists alike. Her father, engineer at the stove, prepares the delicious cuisine.
The accommodation
The renovated farmhouse comprises 3 double rooms and a shared kitchen. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, adjoining rooms, free private parking, a summer swimming pool and a large co-working room, a relaxing lounge area, a scenic terrace and a garden.
All rooms include private bathrooms with showers and bidets, flat screen TVs, a small library of themed books and a desk.
The chef begins in the vegetable garden, before deciding on his menu, and commencing preparation. If time allows, he'll offer an off-the-cuff cookery class. Specialities include Sila buffalo ricotta with Spilinga nduja (a delicious pork and chilli paste) and Crati Valley Dottato figs, Podolica beef “zinzuli” with peppers and potatoes, traditional parmesan cheese and wild strawberry and bitter orange ice.
