A big brown door opens into a charming little garden the “Giardinello delle Delizie“, the surviving nucleus of an old enclosure extended for two hectares; Sitsken , the Dutch hostess, is an expert in plants grown in green houses, sited in the family farm. She cares for this garden, rich with old Neapolitan plants: hedges of ruscus hypoglosum and camellia, citrus, jasmines, carpets of convalaria Japonica, bushes of calle, palms, bouganvillees and a pluricentenarian tree of magnolia grandiflora overhanging the whole building. Sitsken makes excellent marmalade with citrus fruits from the garden that can be enjoyed by guests; dinners are prepared according to the local and family traditions.
