Lodging in an old house of the XVIII century: the de Nuccio family, forebears of the current owners, erected it, enlarging a smaller house with a garden bought from the Neapolitan noble Giovanni Miroballo at the price of 620 ducats in 1719.

Meals are served on the ground floor, in the place once used to keep produce of family's farm, behind the entrance to a deep stone excavated cellar; guests can relax here in vaulted rooms, adorned by Mediterranean arches, among family antiques and comfortable sofas.
From here the access to the typically regional stone-floored double courtyard that gives the name to the complex. The surrounding storehouses were originally used to make wine: there are the entrances to the cool bedded rooms complemented by beautiful family antiques.
A big brown door opens into a charming little garden the “Giardinello delle Delizie“, the surviving nucleus of an old enclosure extended for two hectares; Sitsken , the Dutch hostess, is an expert in plants grown in green houses, sited in the family farm. She cares for this garden, rich with old Neapolitan plants: hedges of ruscus hypoglosum and camellia, citrus, jasmines, carpets of convalaria Japonica, bushes of calle, palms, bouganvillees and a pluricentenarian tree of magnolia grandiflora overhanging the whole building. Sitsken makes excellent marmalade with citrus fruits from the garden that can be enjoyed by guests; dinners are prepared according to the local and family traditions.
