The agriturismo
Overlooking the Sant’Anna lakes, the village of Gramignone, the heart of the agriturismo, is set in a charming natural rural oasis and offers the best Emilian specialties accompanied by a warm, homely atmosphere. The village is 3 km from the centre of San Cesario.
The accommodation
The farm consists of three rural buildings from the Napoleonic era: la Locanda, with 5 bright, spacious rooms with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, TV and wi-fi internet, a large barn decorated with terracotta rosettes and charming traditional window shitters, and a small cottage with self-contained apartment also accessible for disabled guests consisting of a sleeping area, living room with kitchenette, bathroom, which features air conditioning, TV, wi-fi and a private outdoor area shaded by cherry trees.
The restaurant offers a set menu with Emilian specialties and traditional seasonal produce.
Activities and surrounding
The village’s number one activity is horse riding, with guided treks along the banks of the Panaro and workshops. Bike trips with picnics, ping pong tournaments, photographic tours, bird watching, nature trails and many other recreational activities are on offer.
The Nave Equestrian Centre is located between the Via San Gaetano flyover and the river Panaro.
A few minutes’ drive away, we find Modena (15 km) and its warm humanity, Nonantola (15 km) with its highly renowned abbey, the Bazzano Fortress (13 km), Vignola Castle (15 km) and finally, 30 km away, Bologna.
