The agriturismo

The agriturismo is located on a scenic ridge in the Riolesi hills.

The agriturismo is part of a 15 hectare farm cultivated with vines (Albana, Trebbiano, Sangiovese) and fruit trees (apricots), including several rare varieties of fruit (medlars, quince apples and pears, volpine pears, sorb apples, and more).

Hawks, deer, foxes, pheasants and hares can all be easily spotted in the local area.


The farm also has its own wine cellar (manual harvest) and sells jams, Sangiovese grappa, oil, fruit and vegetables.

The accommodation

The agriturismo offers 4 guest rooms, furnished in traditional rural style, with exposed wooden beams and wooden furniture, reflecting the colours of nature. Safes, telephones, mini bars and hairdryers are also provided.

 

In this characteristic renovated farmhouse, guests can enjoy typical specialties from the Romagna region, prepared using the farm’s own produce, wine, jams and liqueurs. The pasta is handmade, and each course is prepared to order.

The large lounge seats 60 guests, and continues the country tradition with its architecture and with the rural items on display. The smaller lounge seats 35 guests and is also ideal for meetings, with a video projector and a moveable flip chart.

 

There is also plentiful green space, the perfect place to dine outdoors in summer. In the grounds behind the property you’ll find a children’s play area, and green space with wooden tables.

 

Activities and surrounding

The Vena del Gesso Park (stretching from the Sillaro valley to Lamone, the hills are crossed by a silver-grey ridge) offers caves to explore, and is also ideal for walking or mountain biking.

The Riolo spa centre is nestled inside an age-old park. You’ll also find a golf course, the Imola racing circuit and the Faenza motocross track nearby.

Faenza is home to an international museum of ceramics.
