The accommodation

The agriturismo is located near the Monte San Michele Sacred Area, the scene of the epic Battles of the Isonzo, in World War I 1914/1918, home to the largest open-air war museum.
The agriturismo is just 25 kmfrom Aquileia (ancient Roman city), 30 km from Cividale del Friuli (ancient Lombard city) and only 3 km from Gradisca d'Isonzo, which has recently been included in the 202 most beautiful villages in Italy, thanks to its green gardens. Other places to visit include the Miramare Castle (Trieste), the summer home of the Hapsburg family. 50 km away are the Postojna Caves inSlovenia.
All those who love the sea, on the other hand, can quickly reach Trieste and Grado, with their spas.
Lovers of good food with a sophisticated palate can head to nearby Collio, to enjoy some of the best Italian wines and Friulian specialties.
To visit the area, we recommend walking or taking a cycling tour in the hills of the Karst.
