The agriturismo
A few km from the sea and from Slovenia, in the small village of Samatorza, the agriturismo produces and sells vegetables, meats and salamis, and wines made from native vines and aged in a fine cellar carved into the rock. The location is ideal for visiting the Trieste Karst, walking in the wood, cycling or mountain biking.
The accommodation
Guest are offered one of the accommodation solutions complete with bathroom, TV and heating: a double bedroom on ground floor with an extra bed if needed (ideal for the disabled guests); a double bedroom with bunk bed, perfect for families with children; a twin (or double) bedroom; a double bedroom; an apartment with terrace, comprising a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and with a bunk bed in the corridor.
Besides the small communal area with terrace, sofa, table and fridge, guests can use all of the dining areas, and sample the traditional Karst and Trieste dishes prepared using the farm’s own produce. In addition to the pig farm, which provides meat and salamis, the farm also produces Vitovska, Malvasia and Terrano wines; guests can visit its vineyards and wine cellar.
