The agriturismo

Set in unspoilt surroundings just a few km from the sea, with a striking panorama, the family-run agriturismo is a gem of contemporary architecture perfectly blended into the rural environment of Friuli, surrounded by the green of native plants, it is home to works by leading national and international artists, displayed as a permanent exhibition by rotation in its rooms.

The accommodation

The 9 bedrooms offered to our guests are equipped with air conditioning, safe, ergonomic mattresses, TV, design furnishings and a bathroom with shower; each one different from the other, they are suited to families, the disabled, couples or singles and comes with spacious wardrobes .

The agriturismo offers also a swimming pool and patio, thermal spring water, a room for admiring the art works, a massage service, car park and large park with garden.

Its farm is specialised in vegetable and flower cultivation.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo is situated in Palazzolo dello Stella, a few km from the sea and between the Tagliamento and Stella rivers; from here, places steeped in history and culture are within easy reach, such as Aquileia, Villa Manin, the star fort town of Palmanova, the Lombard town of Cividale.Trieste andVenice are one hour away.

Guests can reach the banks of the River Stella, for canoeing or visiting the "Paolo Solimbergo" permanent aquarium of fresh water fish species in Ariis; for mycology enthusiasts, there’s the chance to visit Bosco Selva Arvonchi, a mushroom and white truffle reserve. There are also cycle lanes throughout the countryside.

A little more than 70 kmfrom the Adriatic beaches, across the plains and Morainic hills, are the Prealps and the peaks of the Carnic and Julian Alps.
