Villa Corèn, only 10 minutes from Udine and Cividale del Friuli, was built in the XVI century and the towers were added at the side in the XVIII. It was once the property of the nobles Caiselli and Belgrado, but has been in the family since the mid XIX century. The Villa was seriously damaged by the 1976 earthquake, completely restored and now represents the typical Friulian residence of a country gentleman. The Villa is inside an average-size farm (about 63 hectares) growing grapes for wine (Friuli Grave D.O.C. – Controlled Denomination of Origin). All the wine is produced on the farm itself. There are also biologically grown kiwis, almost totally for export, plus cereals and soya.

In the large building that used to be the cellar and barn 6 apartments (from 2 to 5 persons) have been created. The apartments are well equipped for a pleasant stay in the country. Each apartment offers the possibility to enjoy a free, broadband internet connection.
In the summer months, 2 nice bedrooms in the Villa are available for guests.
At guest’s free disposal there is a small room to relax with whirlpool and sauna and a small meeting room for up to 20 people. The Villa is surrounded by a garden and small park, about 5,000 sqm, completely enclosed by a wall.
