L’Altana is about 5 km from Veroli and Frosinone, in the middle of Ciociaria region which is full of naturalistic and historical attractions. This area of Lazio includes Simbruini and Aurunci Parks, the spelaeologic territory of Pastena and Collepardo caves, Annullo’s well, the Tomolo of Campoli Appennino and a large portion of Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo.
In the winter time you can enjoy the skiing resort of Campo Staffi, Campo Catino and Prati di Mezzo. Thermal waters are at close locations of Fiuggi (Terme di Fiuggi), Ferentino (Terme di Pompeo) and Cassino (Terme Varroniane).
