The agriturismo enjoys a scenic, hilly location, surrounded by green Ciociaria countryside, among vines and olive trees in the oasis of Lake Canterno.
The ancient bishop’s residence, renovated in line with green building and energy saving criteria, offers zero mile farm produce, a restaurant, a delicious snack bar, and a well maintained, scenic garden – the perfect place for children to play and to celebrate your private events, enjoying the lake views and sampling the tasty house specialities.
The accommodation
The 2 guest accommodation units feature independent entrances, water flow regulators and energy saving lights:Betulla comprises a lounge, bar corner, 5 double bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, 2 relaxation areas - one for breakfast and one for lunch/dinner – with lake views and a staircase leading to the kitchen; Cycas includes a lounge with professional kitchen, double bedrooms for 30 guests, bathrooms and a private lift to the relaxation area, lounge and garden with lake views, perfect for dining outdoors.Guests may also reserve the entire structure.
The farm is part of the Italian Consortium of Donkey Milk (Consorzio Nazionale Latte d'Asina): guests can tour the farm, which is home to over 400 animals (donkeys, camels, horses, rabbits, sheep and more).The agriturismo also offers workshops on cheese making, making pasta by hand and preparing typical local dishes.
