To all the romantics, The most beautiful garden I have ever seen in September is forty five miles south east of Rome only ten minutes from this 'Holiday'. Its name is Ninfa and it must be one of the most romantic visions in the world. After visiting this enchanted place laid out in the ruins of a medieval village traversed by the sparkling river Ninfa nothing could be better than to continue this pleasure of the senses by returning to Margaret Castle Which Overlooks the marshy plains of 'Pontine Plain' below the hilltop of Cori. I strongly recommend this accommodation as the perfect complement to a visit to Ninfa and Sermoneta. We had a warm welcome and loved the stunning views all around, relaxing by the swimming pool. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Unfortunately we where only a Few Days Able to stay but we will definitely be back.

My friend and I stayed at CSM for a long weekend in the beginning of May. Our goal was to enjoy some good Italian food and wine, and to do some walking and hiking in the hills outside Rome. Thanks to Barbara and her beautiful agriturismo, we had the perfect weekend. Unlike many places you'll find on the internet, CSM is exactly nice as advertised. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. The castle structure itself is truly impressive. And Barbara is the consummate hostess - she gave us hiking advice and maps, and she steered us towards the best restaurants in town. I couldn't have asked for more. Next time, I would stay a week.
