The agriturismo
19th century rural hamlet (560 m above sea level), consisting of three farmhouses which have been converted into four independent apartments, 400 m from the village of Casaprota.
The agriturismo dominates one of the most scenic views in the Upper Sabina area. The eye wanders from the valley of the Montenero and Farfa rivers to the hills covered with olive groves and woods; from the highest mountains in the Sabina Mountain chain to Mount Soratte, the Tiber Valley and along to Lake Bracciano
Like all historic rural buildings in the area, the apartments have thick walls and small windows that make them naturally cool in summer and warm in winter.
The accommodation
All the apartments are comfortable, fully-equipped in every detail (from satellite TV to wireless internet access, freshly laundered linen to tourist literature regarding the Sabina area); furnished in an elegant, rustic style with antique furniture. Each apartment has a private garden with tall trees that is fully equipped and ideal for outdoor dining.
The pool is shared by the four apartments and is situated in an elevated position with panoramic views. In the private restaurant, guests can sample traditional local cooking.
