Thanks to its favourable geographical position, the Borough of Ceri offers its visitors a wide range of possible tourist, archeological, naturalistic and gastronomic itineraries , all to be comfortably reached by car in a limited space of time. A context of remarkable archeologic, historic and naturalistic interest forms the background of this charming agricultural settlement, creating altogether a picture of rare beauty. We find ourselves in the greatest archeologic area of Europe, namely the home of the Etruscan people.
The Home of Etruscans
We are in the region called "Tuscia", the cradle of the Etruscan population, rich in its history and with impressive sceneries, a territory where the mysterious pre-roman population left numerous traces. Its kitchen offers a wide variety of tasteful dishes prepared on the basis of wild boar, still hunted in this zone, and of artichokes, all served with the local wine produced at Cerveteri.
The lake of Bracciano
The characteristic medieval villages of Bracciano, Anguillara Sabazia and Trevignano Romano rise on the slopes of the volcanic lake of Bracciano. Its gastronomy is characterised by the preparation of fillets of pike accompanied by white wine of Bracciano.
