On the main road to Amelia, between Lazio and Umbria, on the green Amerine Hills, you can find La Vecchia Fattoria, a country hotel where lovers of nature, quietness, sport and comfort can pass very pleasant days. It is an ideal place for families with children and people who like excellent service in the heart of nature. The country hotel faces a valley covered in olive trees, and from the farmhouse you can look up to the beautiful, natural lake surrounded by the green Tiber countryside. In the open spaces on the hill there are charming corners where, between the olive trees, aromatic herbs, vineyards and soft fruits, you can allow yourself a break deep in nature.

The old farmhouse has been rigorously renovated maintaining original features, in order to offer to guests the proper balance between comfort and old-fashioned beauty. The farmhouse includes 7 apartments differing in type and size. They are very bright, and two of them have a beautiful view over the valley. They all have every kind of convenience (tv, air-conditioning, fridge, hair-dryer, linen and a well-equipped cooking corner). All the rooms are comfortable and they are elegant places where you can relax and enjoy the pleasant country setting.
The farmhouse also includes 10 double rooms with their own bathroom, panoramic view, simple-style furniture and wrought iron beds. Each room has a tv and independent air-conditioning, in order to provide the best comfort all year long.
The restaurant serve the best Italian country food according to traditional recipes, such as soufflé of vegetables from the farmhouse’s garden, home made pasta with porcini mushrooms or roast rack of pork with baked potatoes. Enjoy the food along with excellent home made wines, and finish with a drop of our famous “limoncello”, a sweet liqueur. It goes perfectly with one of the cakes which you can choose from the trolley. The farm boasts the best organic products, complete with BIOAGRICERT certificate. The cooking is a real art, with traditional recipes made only using natural products.
