The view down to seacoast and the peaceful environment offer an excellent occasion to devote to intellectual and naturalistic activities. The country house is located on a vast property of 2000 acres of forest trees, Mediterranean bush, and open field descending from the top of Castro Hills bordering on the southern part of Tuscany, down to the Fiora River. Near the house is one of the old craters of the volcano, which originally formed the Bolsena Lake. In fact, the crater is called Montecalvo, from which the property draws its name.

Isolated, very peaceful, once a meeting place for large groups of hunters, but at the same time a refuge for legendary outlaws.
The upper floor is reserved for the use of the owner, as a country house, while on the ground floor five apartments have been created for guest, all with access from the garden, and attractively furnished. Equipped for even the coldest season, with heating systems and charming fireplaces.
A beautiful swimming pool is at guest disposal.
