Poggio di Maremma

The farm is situated on a small hill in the country of Pescia Romana, the last Maremma-Laziale village, near Capalbio (Toscana). Pescia Romana’s territory, have a gentle climate and in the last years destination of a great number of tourists attracted by the limpid sea, that had a recognition as between the most clean sea of Italy, and by the beautiful and uncontaminated beach that is 8 km long. At the back of the beach is possible to see a wild and intact Mediterranean flora: the Tombolo.

Thousand of tourists came in Pescia Romana for the beautiful of the country and the beach, but also for the possibility to do most naturalistic, cultural, archaeological excursions, all to few km: Tarocchi’s Garden to 1 km, to 10 minutes of car Ansedonia, to 20 minutes Argentario, Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano, from here is possible to start for little cruise to Giannutri and Giglio Islands. To25 minutes there’s Saturnia, famous thermal centre, to 12 Km there’s Vulci, archaeological-naturalistic park, to 25 km Tarquinia. Civitavecchia to also 30 km and Rome to also one hour of car.
