Via Aurelia Vecchia km 93,00, 01016 Tarquinia (Viterbo)
The agriturismo is located in the stunning natural setting of the Marta River Valley, surrounded by the vines of the "Poggio Ranocchio" (mentioned in the works of Pliny the Elder), the castle walls of Tarquinia, by Mediterranean shrubland and by sprawling countryside sloping down towards the sea.
The farm has been producing liqueurs, grappas, jams, preserves, wine and spumante, honey, biscotti, fruit in syrup, salt cured olives and extra virgin olive oil for 4 generations, using ancient recipes and traditional methods.
The guest rooms are spread over 2 houses: in Borgo there are 8 rooms with views of the Marta River valley; in Colle there are 5 rooms overlooking the valley from higher up.
All rooms enjoy scenic balconies, TVs, bio-air conditioning, minibars, safes, hairdryers, showers and a 24 hour intercom service to reach the agriturismo's personnel. 8 rooms also include whirlpool tubs.
The agriturismo also has a wellbeing centre with swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna and a range of other wellness services.
In the restaurant, guests can enjoy typical dishes mostly prepared using the farm's own and other local produce. Special menus are available for coeliacs and those with other food intolerances, coordinated by the restaurant manager, who is certified by the Italian Coeliacs Association.
