Walking barefoot on the warm resin floors heated naturally by a wood-fuelled boiler, or going out first thing in the morning on the balcony of the independent apartment that overlooks the valley to admire it as it slowly awakens, are only some of the simple but deep emotions you can experience while staying at agritourism Il Mulino.

Set inside Centro Anidra Rural Park (labelled as Panda Farm from the WWF), in the wonderful natural frame of the Sturla Valley that protects it and gives it a feeling of infinite peace and quiet, this agritourism is an exceptional place to get back in touch with your inner-self by regaining an authentic and perhaps forgotten contact with nature.

Once an old water mill, agritourism Il Mulino has been recently restored into an original edifice that on the one hand respects the local building tradition with its external stone walls, and on the other hand the modern principles of bio-architecture and Feng Shui with the use of natural materials and the interior design of the accommodations.

Each of the four accommodations is in fact named after a primary natural element - wood, fire, metal and earth – to which it is connected, for example, the earth element is characterised by an undulating wall that expresses the natural flow of energy and emphasizes the rooms’ hospitality with its ceilings made with chestnut wood, the walls with natural lime plaster, the ecological panels with wooden fibres that isolate the walls and protect your repose. Not to mention the attention paid to details like the electrical system equipped with circuit breakers to avoid the formation of magnetic fields or the orientation of the building itself which harmonically fits into the surrounding environment.

Here as the old meets the modern the East meets the West and you have the opportunity of following yoga and martial arts courses offered by the Anidra School, of dedicating your day to finding your wellbeing and your own inner balance thanks to the different wellness services offered like the Finnish sauna, the holistic, craniosacral and shiatsu massage treatments or simply a walk in the open air, along the river, maybe down to the waterfall, losing yourself in the magic atmosphere of its pond, a timeless place of astonishing beauty that you can reach by simply going for a short walk in the woods.

Last but not least, our menus are prepared with organic home-grown products like fresh vegetables, honey, extra virgin olive oil, jams and above all our salami, the house special, which is recognised at national level and, just like our coppa and pancetta, is produced without chemical additives from pigs bred in the wild of our woods … to really leave an unforgettable mark in the palate and the memories of those who come and visit.
