Antico Casale di Sarzana

The estate is located in the Sarzana rural countryside. This charming little town, born on the extreme eastern part of the Liguria region on the border with Tuscany, rests on the Magra river flat and is framed by a landscape in which the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Ligurian Appennine surround the fertile plains that overlook the Ligurian Sea. Plenty of services are provided for the Farmhouse guests, starting with trekking on the Apuan Alps supervised by a certified instructor to fishing with World champion Paolo Volpini and Marco Melluso; from bike rides around trails on the Montemarcello Magra Park to guided horse riding tours.
From the Farmhouse is easy to reach the streets of the town's historical center, always busy with many initiatives; visitors can roam in search of antique items or stop to taste the spungata, the typical local sweet, one of the many gourmet choices of the regional cuisine.

The beaches of Marinella are not too far away and other suggested destinations are within a few kilometers radius: on one side Bocca di Magra, Montemarcello, Lerici, Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, while on the other side the Luni Hills, Carrara's marble caves and Versilia, without forgetting mysterious Lunigiana, land of legendary villages and castles.
