Agriturismo Terrazza sul Golfo

Reached by driving along the scenic "Litoranea" road that leads from La Spezia to Riomaggiore, the first village in the Cinque Terre, the farmhouse Terrazza sul Golfo , dating back to the 1400s, consists of two structures, Il Casale and Villa Bello Sguardo, both of which have panoramic terraces overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia (also called the Gulf of Poets), which give the farmhouse its name.

The entire complex is located 200 meters above sea level, in unspoiled territory that still retains its complete authenticity.

The farm has an area of 13 hectares, part of which is located within the Cinque Terre National Park.

Available in Il Casale are the one-room Corniglia apartment, two two-room Vernazza and Riomaggiore apartments, and the three-room Portovenere apartment, all with ceilings made of exposed beams and fully equipped kitchens, and all accessible to a private outdoor space.

Corniglia

Riomaggiore

Bright one-bedroom apartment of 35sqm for 4 people. The apartment features wooden ceilings with exposed beams and has a private outdoor terrace. accessed from the master bedroom. It consists of:

• a bedroom with a double bed,
• a living room with two single beds,
• a kitchenette,
• a bathroom accessible from the master bedroom.

Portovenere

Spacious three-room apartment of 60 sq m for 5/6 people. The ceilings feature the old exposed beams. The apartment is equipped with:

• a bedroom with a double bed and a view of the Gulf of Poets,
• an attic room with 2 single beds, a sofa bed and two small windows from which you can enjoy the view,
• a living room with a fireplace and 2 beds,
• a fully equipped eat-in kitchen,
• a bathroom
• and a small terrace.

Villa Bello Sguardo, on the other hand, has two studio apartments(Tramonti and Caletta), four two-room apartments(Venere Azzurra, Tellaro, Schiara and Baia Blu) and the Eco del mare loft. All the sofa beds in the accommodations feature memory foam mattresses.

At the farmhouse it is possible to organize private parties with lots of fun.

The farmhouse organizes sea and land trips to the Cinque Terre and surrounding areas with a personal guide, courses (minimum 2 participants) in Ligurian cooking, and much more, such as guided tours to the archaeological site of Luni, visits to oil mills and local wineries that produce oil and wines from the 5 Terre. During dedicated periods, you will also be able to participate in the olive harvest and grape harvest.

In its upper part, the farm, crossed by paths and mule tracks (path No. 1 connects Portovenere to the Cinque Terre), falls within the Cinque Terre Natural Park. Guests can therefore enjoy the tranquility of the garden or take walks through the olive groves and woods of the farm, in search of seasonal wild fruits, mushrooms and chestnuts, discovering the most picturesque corners of the area.

It is possible to reach Riomaggiore in a quarter of an hour, Portovenere in 20 min. and Lerici in 30 min. Nearby it is possible to visit the town of Sarzana, rich in monuments and palaces, ancient Luni with its archaeological museum, Versilia (Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio). Very interesting might be a visit to the marble quarries of Carrara, where Michelangelo sourced material for his statues.

About 20 km away is the land of Lunigiana (Pontremoli, Bagnone and Villafranca) with its rich food and wine production.

The mostly mild and dry climate from April to October (15° - 30°) allows for several activities such as:
