Old inn from 1400, lovingly restored, situated in an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of the Alps Orobiche. Immersed in an enchanting environment that invites us to rediscover the silence and the colors of the seasons.
The accommodation
La Pèta is a farmhouse located in Costa Serina, in the province of Bergamo.
For about twenty years the Val Serina (located in the district of Valle Brembana) is home to this farm where they raise goats, pigs, horses, donkeys and animals of low court, where they produce the precious goat cheeses , yogurt, honey and cold cuts, where you can eat, sleep, stop
surrounded by the silent beauty of the mountains of Bergamo and the care of wise hands and attentive.
Little is needed to rediscover simplicity. Comfortable rooms are available for those who want to find themselves; furnished with antique furniture of the Serina valley, the rooms can accommodate up to four people. In spring and summer a large living room and a large garden welcome guests for children's games, for a moment of relaxation, for reading a good book. There are six rooms that guarantee rest with a large and elegant bathroom on each floor.
Paola, the cook, drives everyone crazy. The secrets of her cooking are simple: good things, done well, each time with that extra touch, but you can not get it. The appetizers are created with cheeses and jams ofour own production, homemade pasta for the first courses, chicken and rabbit roll, pork loin and other meats from our farm for the second courses, the seasonal vegetables cooked and raw for the side dishes and to close the delicious desserts of Paola.These delicacies, which we serve with care in the beautiful halls of the Pèta and in summertime also in the garden, are only a part of the riches that can be tasted here.
