The agriturismo
The Farmhouse Scuderia della Valle is located in Valsecca, just a few kilometres away from the centre of Bergamo and a little more than an hour by motorway away from Milan.
This is the ideal place for families and children, groups and visitors who want to take a rest from the stress of the routine. The farmhouse offers its guests comfortable accommodation and a restaurant service with authentic cuisine and specialties from the traditional cooking of Bergamo. The farm organizes banquets and weddings. In the farm you can horse trek, ride horses and have riding lessons. The farm also offers walks for children and adults through the woods of the valley in the company of the llamas. It is also an educational farm with educational trails for groups and schools, summer nature camps and workshops.
The accommodation
Set in an enchanting natural environment, the farmhouse offers its visitors a relaxing stay immersed in nature with local cuisine, bar and porch, 7 rooms with every comfort and vast outdoor spaces for walks.
The farm has 7 rooms including 4 with loft and balcony, two double rooms and one single. All rooms have wooden ceiling with exposed beams, terrace or balcony, a relaxation corner in the backyard of the farm, satellite and digital TV, Wi-Fi, and each room has also a private bathroom.
You will also enjoy a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the dining room with a big fireplace and reading corners or, if the weather is nice, you can relax on the porch outside.
The farm has a small playground for children, but you can also make nice walks around the farm visiting all our animals.
Our restaurant is able to accommodate up to 120 people in the large and cozy dining room, perfect for receptions in the winter. In the summer, you can enjoy our dishes in the large porch made of glass that can accommodate up to 130 people. Here you will be surrounded by the greenery of our garden.
Our kitchen is based on the use of local, natural, and homemade products, cooked with passion and imagination. Delicacies that come from our vegetable gardens, genuine local meat, cakes and pies, fresh fruit, all accompanied by the best wines of the area.
We serve traditional recipes of Bergamo with a touch of creativity from our chefs. Among our specialties you can find homemade pasta: casoncelli, foiade, pappardelle, cakes and desserts: pear and chocolate cake, berry tarts, panna cotta with warm berries, apple pie, chestnut pie, walnut pie and much more.
In the farmhouse, you can buy products of the farm and other local products.
The farm is also a location for weddings, ceremonies, events, and a location for meetings and business seminars.
For the day of your wedding, our farm is at your disposal: your guests and you will be greeted in a picturesque setting, surrounded by nature, in a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that will to give unique sensations. Special menus for the bride, groom and their guests are created and customized according to the needs. At the farm, you can celebrate religious and civil ceremonies in the picturesque setting of the garden or under our porch.
The farm offers many activities for you and your guests during the reception: horseback ride, walks with llamas, visit to the farm animals. We have playground and large green areas for the entertainment of children.
