Il Cardo

Stefania and Guido run Il Cardo and the Divino Rosso farm. With their passion, they have created a hospitable and cosy place for relaxing holidays. They run the whole house and welcome their clients serving delicious breakfasts; there is also the chance to enjoy aperitifs with typical local products and to taste the excellent wines and oil of the farm. The Divino Rosso farm, with the same owners, is in the Valtenesi area of Lake Garda, in the communes of Soiano del lago, Polpenazze del Garda and Calvagese della Riviera. Vines and olive trees are grown for the production of excellent DOC wines and extra-virgin olive oil. The products are of controlled origin and protected. The farm adopts a Regional Plan for the improvement of natural resources, which can decrease the amount of fertiliser supplied from outside, thus reducing pollution and improving the balance regulating the ecosystem, all in a logic of respect for the environment and, consequently, consumer protection and quality.

Rooms/One-room apartments: the rooms are spacious, furnished with attention to the smallest detail and provide every comfort. They have a bathroom, an outdoor area with table and chairs, a double bed and in all the rooms a single bed and a cot can be added. For Arnica and Pervinca, it is possible to choose between service for rooms (daily cleaning and breakfast included/linen changed every 3 days) or one-room apartments (cleaning at the end of the stay/linen changed weekly/breakfast on request). Two-room apartments: the apartments are cosy and carefully furnished, with exposed beam ceilings. They have a sitting room with an equipped kitchen area, a double room with bathroom, to which a single bed can be added. Another single bed can also be added in the sitting room. The bedroom looks on to an equipped private terrace of 15 sq. m. with a lake view and deckchair. The sitting room has a private patio with table and chairs. Guests may use a barbecue area.  Services: cookware, linen, satellite TV, hairdryer, air conditioning (heating and cooling), common laundry, private car park.

Services: swimming pool, olive grove, equipped children’s play area, bicycles available for guests, private car park, common laundry, barbecue area. On request: extra cleaning of one-room and two-room apartments. Transfer service. Booking of tee times for golfers, booking for riding lessons or excursions, booking for visits to the Vittoriale, the Villa Romana archeological site, Garda Island.
