The two centuries years old restaurant was taken over by Sala family in 1958.

We introduced a new activity, on the Lake of Como, which offered a good link between professional lake fishing and cuisine. Today, Alessandro, a professional fisherman, keeps these traditions on. In fact he catches fresh-water fish daily, then his wife Rosy proposes it in the menu.

The union between our typical products and the beautiful view of the lake from the first floor of the restaurant, will offer you an unforgettable experience.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very friendly and is based on direct contacts with customers.

There are few places as romantic as Lake Como and even fewer lakeshore towns as charming as Bellagio.  This little village is situated in a privileged position on the tip of the promontory separating the Como Lake in two branches, making it a strategic point for seeing the whole lake.

Bellagio has lots of interesting places worth visiting, including Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni gardens, the Basilica of San Giacomo, the Romanesque chapel of San Giorgio and Punta Spartivento.

Walks around the suburbs of Bellagio scattered from the lake side to the top of San Primo mountain and enjoy lovely views, magnificient gardens and other private villas.

Thank’s its central location, you can easily visit the whole lake : everything you want to see in the lakeside villages is easily accessible by the frequent and cheap ferries. Lake Como is a great place to visit if your looking to enjoy the many activities that the lake offers  like golf, water skiing, fishing, swimming, bicycle touring, kitesurfing & windsurfing, parachuting, rockclimbing, canoeing, horse riding, rowing and not least in the winter skiing.

San Giovanni is a the characteristic fishing hamlet with picturesque cobbled streets, a nice  port where the fishermen's boats and the typical boats of the lake called “LUCIA” moor.

You can also visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, dating back to the 17th Century, the Museum of Nautical Instruments, the Bellagio rowing school which can boats 6 world champions and the best public beaches.
