Our establishment which occupies with trout and sturgeon breeding, was founded in 1988 on the ruins of an old industrial plant that once produced nails, locks and other metal objects. Therefore its name "La Vecchia Chioderia"
The water of the river which operated once the forge hammer, is today conduced into the big breeding basins, and owing to its characteristics (it is told that the river was named "Sanagra" because its water had curative effects) and its elevated nutritive value, the trouts and sturgeons do not need any additional food.
The trouts can be consumed right here in one of our three dining-rooms, all furnished in a rustic style, but you may also buy them fresh and take them away.
Through the panoramic window with sight onto the inner basins, you can make sure that the fresh caught fish is immediately prepared.

For extraordinary holidays amidst nature, our establishment disposes of four rooms for the guests, all of them with own bathroom and furnished in a comfortable and rustic style.
In the summertime, there are available wooden cottages near the basins.

One: Room with one double and one single bed
Two: Double bed room
Three: Room with one double and one bunk bed
The suite: Double bed room
The Cottages: Wooden cottages with two bunk beds.

The Restaurant - Francesca, queen of the kitchen, besides the standard menu always available, she prepares, on booking, savory courses of  "polenta and brasato", "polenta and rabbit", "pizzoccheri", "crespelle of Saracen wheat with mushrooms, "fish in carpione" and so many other specialities to be arranged.
