The agriturismo

The holiday farm is located in Castelfranco d'Oglio, a small village of around the eleventh century close to the river and in the heart of the Oglio Sud National Park.
Accommodated in a comfortable carefully restructured end of nineteenth century farmstead one can dedicate oneself to the discovery of flavours and traditions of the Po Valley.

The accommodation

The Airone has 10 bedrooms all with on-suite bathrooms. Each room, named after a flower, offers comfortable accommodation for a relaxing stay in the silence of the countryside but also provides main facilities such as, television, direct telephone line, Internet connection, mini bar, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, independent air-conditioning.
For the guests who want to treat themselves Airone has one suite divided into three areas: living room, lounge with fireplace, double bedroom with four-poster bed, private bathroom and the same level of comfort as the bedrooms.
The building has access for the disabled.

The restaurant, in charming surroundings, offers a menu according to season with a selection of regional sliced hams as starter, pasta with different sauces for first course, red and white meat, home grown vegetables in season.

The wine list offers a carefully selected range of regional wines. One can taste lambruschi and merlot, but also Chiaretti del Garda and wines from Franciacorta.

Airone has a large hall equipped with audio and video projection systems for companies and associations who need to organize meetings and conferences. Coffee break or refreshments are provided.

The holiday farm also has:

- a wide swimming-pool in a really nice garden where guests can relax and enjoy the sun.
- a fitness area dedicated to the holiday farm guests
- Its own museum about farmer civilization, with sections dedicated to sowing and crop gathering, pig breeding, grape harvest, wine and cheese making.
- “The walnut garden”, a blooming walnut orchard with a playground for the enjoyment of the younger ones and for repose in the cool shade;
- An equipped sheltered area to rest the horses for those who should wish to reach the holiday farm on horseback.
