The agriturismo
An historic convent in the green of the expanses of ploughed meadows and the clear water of the springs around Rivolta d'Adda, has become a farming business, capable of offering lodging in welcoming and comfortable rooms in a family atmosphere with particular attention to cuisine.
The accommodation
The farm is located in a typical Lombard farmstead that was a convent about three-hundred years ago. Now completely restored respecting its origins and history, it is made up of a first farmhouse in which the two restaurant areas and the carefully furnished rooms were built; another farmhouse with a large portico for the summer; an old stable and an agricultural shed that is the only new structure, built to hold the forage and agricultural equipment. All around it are fields and streams.
Activities and surrounding
The family’s guiding philosophy includes the desire to build an oasis of peace and relaxation for their guests in which they can rediscover the colours, smells and flavours of the country at a deliberately “slow” pace.
For those who would like to take a trip to the surrounding area, you can visit the Prehistoric Park at Rivolta along with the beautiful Basilica di San Sigismondo in the centre of town.
