The Cascina was built in the 17^th Century and has a typical structure of a Lombardian farmhouse featuring an impressive portico facade that surrounds a courtyard. It has been recently renovated while still maintaining the original design and architectural integrity, conserving the charm of the original residence where every detail has its own story, linked to the history of the house and its values.

The family atmosphere is maintained by Marta’s cooking, who re-interprets traditional favourites that have been based on ancient cook books, tips collected from grandmothers and aunts, stolen secrets, and rewritten recipes.  Marta has been able to find a group of traditional kitchen staff that are capable of organising wonderful meals, parties, and snacks for small groups of up to about 30 people. Large celebrations such as weddings are also possible: we are at your service to realise the celebration of your dreams, with a group coordinating your desires to achieve a successful party based on simplicity, quality and originality.

 

For overnight stays there are 3 double rooms available: one with a bathroom and the other two with a shared bathroom and balcony. The rooms are comfortable, decorated with care and have a breathtaking view of the countryside and Grigne & Resegone mountains; the serenity and tranquility are aided by thick stone walls that ensure a sound night’s sleep.

 

Guests can use the living room with fireplace, veranda, balcony, garden area, ping-pong and calcetto.

A stroll around the grounds can include a visit to the animal stalls where you can find cows and calves, and you can also visit the surrounding forest area
