The farm house is located in the natural oasis of the Mincio Park and it offers a wonderful view of one of the most famous medieval villages of the morainic hills: Castellaro Lagusello, easy to reach also on foot through various paths surrounded by nature.

Moreover, the guests can take part to different activities: excursions on bicycle (you can rent one). It is also possible to have wonderful walks in the wide surrounding natural area. On the lawn there are outdoor entertainment for children, recreational activities, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven at your disposal.

Cavriana, the village where is situated this farmhouse, still has the typical structure of a fortified ancient village: in fact, a stately fortress dominates the village from the high of a hill. Cavriana boasts two important historic-environmental attractions: the park of Villa Mirra and the Romanesque church ?La Pieve?, linked one another by a pedestrian run. Inside Villa Mirra there is the Archaeological Museum, which exhibits the interesting Romanesque material found during various excavations. The ?Pieve? (XI century) is one of the most famous monument of our area. Inside the little church you can see some frescos of the XII century, while outside you can admire a beautiful view: you can see even the Apennines.

It's advise a visit to: Castellaro Lagusello typical medieval village surrounded by walls that you can admire from our farm house; Mantua, where you can visit Gonzaga's residences: Palazzo Te (with Mantegna's frescos) and Palazzo Ducale; you can also visit the Basilica of St. Andrea's with its cupola designed by Brunelleschi; Borghetto and Valeggio sul Mincio, they are two small adjoining villages, few km far from us. You can reach them by crossing the historical, stately Visconteo bridge. Borghetto rises on the shore of the Mincio and you can also go along the shore of the river on bicycle. Valeggio is Known for its big and majestic Sigurtà Park; Verona, in Verona you will see important historical monuments, such as the Arena. Verona is also well-known because it's the city of Romeo and Juliet, the famous couple of the Shakespearean tragedy; Garda Lake and its attractions: Peschiera, Gardaland, Caneva, Lazise.
