Radaméz

The Farm offers a charming courtyard with buildings positioned at the center of the property. The conductor represents the fifth generation of the family settled on this land in the first half of the twentieth century. The farm has evolved steadily over time, adapting to the changing needs of housing and agricultural production. The initial nucleus has, however, lived centuries-old events (some evidences go back to 1500/600).

In the late 50s of the twentieth century Gabriele Zerbini (Venice, 1924 - Desenzano del Garda, 1986) known by everyone since then with the name "Radaméz”, had the good fortune to stay in this farm. Educated man  but a true free spirit for his lifestyle and thought, he  performed some works of art as a painter in this farm. His artistic creativity  was supported by great skill in the use of brushes and colors and he left, across the south hills of Lake Garda, many and attractive paintings. Those who knew him recalled for his  friendly and down-to-earth disposition in dealing with others. A style that we like to call "Naive". A documentary film that concerns him is titled "Radaméz, the son of the stars".
Over time we have collected some of his paintings and for this, but not only, we decided to give to our farm his artistic name.

For a comfortable and peaceful stay Radaméz (Naϊf House) offers guests accommodation in apartments equipped with every comfort with independent entrance and protected  ith wide and pleasant porches. "Naive House", because we have a small exhibition of paintings by Rada,éz (Naive person and artist). Naive has precise meanings and values that we trust will be appreciated by our guests: "goodness, innocence, passion, simplicity, sincerity, spontaneity, rusticity, respect for people, enchantment of nature". A special barbecue and play area equipped for children are accessible in the spacious garden-park In a dedicated wing of the farmhouse, with climate and  services, you can admire the paintings of Radaméz and a small exhibition of old instruments of agricultural technology.

Admirable is a large wooden press of the end of '700 among other objects and documents. The apartments are spacious and bright, each one is furnished in a particular way. They take their name from the peculiar furniture that you can recognize in the photo gallery of the site: Tree of grapevine; Tree of Life; Sunset; Naϊf House; Toreador. The porches that bring defense and pleasantness to the apartments, keep the original volume. These architectural elements, typical of rural tradition, were present in all the courts of the agricultural area until recent years. They were a place of shelter, where the farmers spent much of their time working and socializing. A true gathering place where guests can enjoy a relaxing, recreational and social time.
