The agriturismo

The agriturismo is situated in Valtellina, in a stunning location in the Alps. The stone and wood farm buildings stand on the banks of the river Adda, in a natural setting in harmony with the local landscape.

The accommodation

The agriturismo offers accommodation in 29 homely, spacious rooms, characterised by the names of flowers and birds and divided into five types. Standard, Junior Suites and Suites, all furnished in larch wood in a classic mountain style with sitting area and equipped with all amenities (including air conditioning, minibar and telephone). Large beds with Danish duvets. Bathrooms with window and large shower.

 

Restaurant service with raw ingredients produced on the farm (cattle, in particular the Bruna Italiana breed, sheep, goats and horses are bred using a method focused on animal welfare and respect for the environment).

 

The agriturismo has a swimming pool, whirlpool bath, sauna, vitarium, Turkish bath, aromatic and emotional showers, whey baths, hay baths, fitness area, herbal tea and relaxation area, massages and beauty treatments.

 

The agriturismo is also a reception venue for weddings, with rooms that can accommodate from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 85 guests.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo can be reached by bike along the cycle path linking Colico with Morbegno. It is a stop-off for those heading towards the towns in the Alta Valtellina, Valchiavenna and Engadina areas.

Guests can visit the farm and see the cattle and pigs, milk processing, cheese making and milking. They can watch cheese processing thanks to a long route with views of the dairy. It is possible to attend courses/workshops such as “the milk journey” and “from seed to harvest” (to discover corn, barley, hay, ryegrass and alfalfa).

The surrounding area offers opportunities for horse riding, mountain biking and walking along the river Adda and in the neighbouring valleys, trails for hiking with mountain guides and cultural excursions to towns in the Valtellina and upper Lake Como areas. The agriturismo is close to the ski resorts of Valgerola, Valmalenco, Madesimo, Bormio and Livigno.
