Fontegeloni is a small hamlet in the district of Serra San Quirico, in the heart of the Marche countryside.
Situated on the slopes of a hill overlooking the Castles of the Jesi Valley, it is easily reachable from the motorway that connects Ancona to Fabriano.
The farmlands are characterized by the vineyards of Verdicchio - approximately 27 hectares - and by the cultivation of cereals. For some years a part of the land have been farmed with organic methods: quality products, that respects the nature and the traditions of the land, are produced with olive trees, fruit trees, vegetables and aromatic plants.

Situated on the ground floor, facing the garden and overlooking the valley, this apartment is made up of two rooms with traditional “cotto” (clay tile) floors and wood beam ceilings. They are equipped with a comfortable sofabed for two people and kitchen with a spacious electric oven, marble washbasin and dishwasher, The double room is furnished with an iron bed, made by local craftsman, and antique furniture. The quaint little bathroom has a wood floor and is equipped with a whirlpool bathtub.
LA VOLPE E L’UVA (THE FOX AND THE GRAPES)
This unit is situated on the first floor. One can relish from here a magnificent overview on the surrounding fields and the valley. It consists of two rooms with “cotto” (clay tile) floors and wood beam ceilings. The spacious dining room is furnished with a comfortable sofabed for two people and a cooking range with brick surround under the original old fireplace hood. The room has a double iron poster bed, made by local craftsman, and antiques furniture. The large bathroom is equipped with a shower and a large corner whirlpool bathtub.
IL GRILLO PARLANTE (THE TALKING CRICKET)
Situated on the ground floor, facing directly to the garden with a large patio door, the room overlooks the fields and the valley. It consists of a double room and a spacious bathroom. It is furnished with an iron bed, made by local craftsman, and antique furniture. The bathroom is decorated with white “Carrara” marble and has a bathtub.
