Fiorano

The Organic FarmhouseFiorano is located in the Marche, in Cossignano , in the province of Ascoli Piceno, on a hill (300 m.s.l.), in the open countryside, and consists of an old farmhouse finely restored in green building. It is located near the Adriatic Sea of San Benedetto del Tronto and Grottammare, a town with beautiful sandy beaches. It takes only 15 minutes by car to reach them.

There is available an apartment and the farm produces renowned DOC wines and certified extra virgin olive oil , with the possibility of booking to taste theproducts .

The company has received awards for: Isnart quality receptivity; Legambiente turismo certified structure; Organic wine and olive farm.

There is availble for guests an independent housing unit: the apartment Ailanto,accessible also to disabled people , which overlooks the garden.

The apartment consists of a large bedroom, a nice kitchen, equipped with everything you need to spend your stay in complete autonomy, and a bathroom with large shower.

The treatment of hospitality provides only accommmodation . In the immediate vicinity (800 meters) there is a farm restaurantwhere you can dine .

The structure, which is part of the Bike Hotel network in the province of Ascoli Piceno, overlooks the large organic estate of vineyards and olive groves from which the company produces renowned DOC wines and extra virgin olive oil certificates. At the farm, it is possible to organize, upon reservation, for groups of people and for guests, tastings of wine and organic olive oil of internal production, snacks and aperitifs with typical products of the territory and of the farm. There is also the possibility to visit the farm with a tour of the organic vineyards and olive groves and the farm's wine cellar.

Agriturismo Fiorano is also close to the art centres of Ascoli Piceno, Offida , Ripatransone , Fermo and near the wonderful Monti Sibillini National Park.

The location of the organic farmhouse allows easy excursions to the medieval towns of Cossignano ( green flag 2007), Ripatransone (7 km, orange flag Touring), Offida (8 km - the most beautiful villages in Italy), a centre famous for its bobbin lace and Acquaviva Picena ( orange flag Touring). The Riviera delle Palme(Grottammare and San Benedetto del Tronto, both Blue Flags 2018) are 15 km away and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car.

It takes about 40 min to reach Ascoli Piceno (35 km), a centre of considerable historical/artistic interest with one of the most beautiful squares in Italy, and Fermo, with its Roman cisterns and wonderful Duomo. The National Park of the Sibillini Mountains with the splendid plain of Castelluccio di Norcia is just 1 hour away by car. From here it is possible to make excursions to the Lakes of Pilato, on Monte Vettore . The Monti della Laga National Park (wild and unknown) is 60 km away, while the Conero Park, Loreto and the wonderful Frasassi Caves are about 50-70 km away. Assisican be reached in about two hours. The renowned thermal baths of Acquasanta are 50 minutes away.

It is possible to take part in countless folkloristic events of ancient tradition such as the Quintana in Ascoli in July and August, the historical re-enactment of Templaria in Castignano from 17 to 21 August, the Cavallo di Fuoco eight days after Easter in Ripatransone, lu Bov'fint and the "Velurd" at the Offida carnival.During the summer we recommend the famous Night of the Gnomes and Witches in Montalto delle Marche (7 km from the farmhouse) and the historical re-enactment of St. George in Cossignano in August .

Since Cossignano is part of the restricted circle of 13 municipalities in which the renowned Rosso Piceno Superiore DOC and Doc Offida wine is produced , from the agritourism it is possible to organize a tour on the "Strada del Rosso PicenoSuperiore" visiting several winecellars of international importance.
