The agriturismo
The agriturismo is located in the Monti Sibillini National Park, at 600 metres altitude, in a peaceful, scenic spot.
The farm is entirely organic, and offers a selection of high quality produce which is used in the agriturismo’s restaurant and also available for guests to purchase. cherries, apricots, plums, blackberries, chestnuts, lentils, chickpeas, beans, jams, juices and fruit creams.
The educational farm, the classes, the tasting sessions, the traditional cuisine and the cultural activities are the perfect way to discover the Monti Sibillini region.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is a typical rural hamlet from the 1700s, with elements dating back to the 1200s, renovated and transformed into an accommodation structure comprising of 3 stone farmhouses: inside you will find 2 apartments and 8 rooms (also accessible to disabled guests and furnished with items from the end of the 1800s), as well as a restaurant and conference room.
The restaurant offers three lounges, to accommodate up to 66 guests, and serves typical regional dishes, mainly prepared using organic ingredients from the farm itself and other local producers.
The swimming pool offers extensive mountain views, and at sunset it becomes clear why the poet Leopardi called the Sibillini range the “Blue Mountains". On the estate, you’ll also find a garden filled with medicinal and dye plants, an area for picking forgotten fruits, a rock garden, 5 themed pathways and the "Palestra dell'asino" donkey training ground.
Activities and surrounding
The farm organizes theme days and courses aimed at learning about the environment, agriculture and handicrafts. Of great interest is the 3 km route to be covered in the company of donkeys. Moreover, from the farmhouse starts the"L'asinovia dei Monti Sibillini", which with its 16 km crosses areas of great environmental and landscape interest.
In the surroundings you can visit: the historical centre of Pievebovigliana with its museum collections and historical-architectural evidences; the museum of the agricultural and pastoral civilization of Pievetorina; the lake of Fiastra; Camerino and the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains.
