The agriturismo
Our agriturismo, inaugurated 25 years ago, has an organic background (in fact we are the heirs to Alce Nero) and brings back to life a place rich in history like Montebello.
The accommodation
The agriturismo has two buildings: Monastero and Locanda.
The Monastery of Montebello, founded in 1380, has four rooms and two flats, as well as two parlors (for 100 and 200 guests) and is excellent for hosting courses, meetings, weddings and study days. The smaller parlor is more intimate and has an adjacent kitchen, suited to smaller reunions and self-managed groups.
In the basement is a museum dedicated to peasant life, with an archeological section and farming tools.
There is also a church dedicated to the Holy Trinità, recently restored.
The Locanda (500 m from the Monastery) offers six rooms and here you may savor breakfast and meals. The restauarant is open to everyone and includes typical dishes (recipes and ingredients, organic).
500 meters away fro both buildings in the pasta factory of the Cooperativa Girolomoni (organic and whole wheat pasts).
