Il Rifugio del Brigante

An antique and noble mansion, built between the 18th and the 19th century.
After the reunification of Italy in 1870 it was object of various robberies carried out by the brigands of the renowned “Fuoco's gang”.

Today instead it is a attractive residence, surrounded by green hills, situated at the foot of the “Mainarde Mountains, in the National Park of Abruzzo , Lazio and Molise.

It has maintained its old structure with high vaults, archways and walls in simple stone.
The mansion have 6 large and bright rooms, each with own bathroom, heating and SKY TV. One is equipped for disabled guests.

The rooms are all simple but elegantly furnished.
There is also a patio, a terrace for sunbathing, reading-room, a bar, a restaurant, wine-collection.

At Breakfast the Agriturismo offers natural and local products, like fruit juice, jams, cheese and ham, homemade cakes, coming from local farmers.
