The agriturismo

Near the Sanctuary of Crea and the Sacro Monte Park, in the beautiful setting of woods and vineyards, the agriturismo offers accommodation for short and long periods in rooms decorated with furniture from times gone by.

The food is simple and homemade, based on traditional local recipes using produce from the farm and local area, and can be enjoyed in the frescoed rooms or, in summer, in the garden.

 

 

The accommodation

The accommodation currently consists of 4 bedrooms and a lodge, all refurbished respecting the original architecture, even in the simple furniture, reusing chests of drawers and cupboards from times gone by to help guests experience the historical nature of the environment.

The breakfast room and restaurant are spacious and bright, with skilfully restored frescoes that reflect the distinguished identity of the main house, once the summer residence of Count Campredon.

You can also find a small agricultural museum, where you can admire the tools that were once used for various farming and agricultural jobs.

The spacious garden available to guests for relaxing moments of calm or for lively parties and meetings in the spring and summer gives access to the property, where group and school activities take place. The wood is a haven for those who like walking in nature and appreciate the landscape and its sounds.

Activities and surrounding

In the agriturismo, tasting days and farm visits are organised for groups of at least 10 people. Educational activities designed for schools are increasingly being offered to adults interested in nature and agriculture. The most popular are workshops related to the wine harvest and the vegetable garden.

On the third Sunday of July each year, the “Wellbeing and Nature” event takes place here, involving those working in wellbeing, craftsmen and local producers who offer visitors their produce, experiences and knowledge in a completely “natural” setting.

Nearby, there is a riding school, swimming pool, Sacro Monte di Crea Natural Park and, a few miles further on, you can also find golf courses, spas and cities such as Moncalvo (the smallest in Italy), which should certainly be visited on the last two Sundays in October during the Truffle Festival. Other towns not so far away are Casale,Vercelli,Alessandria andAsti, with interesting old town and museums.

In about an hour by car, you can also reach Milan, Genoa, Turin and Aosta.

As for the comments regarding the cuisine of our farmhouse, I cannot make any judgments since these are personal and subjective tastes. However, I can defend the freshness of all the dishes prepared by the restaurant of our agritourism, whose simple and genuine cuisine proposes the typical and traditional flavors of the Piedmont region.
The quality-price ratio offered by our agriturismo is in line with all our efforts and our daily commitment to offer, to our guests, the best possible experience.
