Christina and Freddy Were the perfect hosts in what is the most beautiful and relaxed location. Immediately We were made to feel at home. The rooms were large, clean and very well appointed. Dinner was excellent and the local wine tasting and house wine was delicious. Set in a spectacular location, any visitor will have a fantastic stay. We only wish we Could have stayed longer! I also made the New Year at St. John the jug and I must say that the dinner was more than excellent. If in my town there was something similar I would have paid very expensive and difficult with the same quality. It 'a place that I recommend to those who appreciate the beauty, hospitality, elegance and above all good food and wine.

I've been to New Year. We found the owners very well, very nice farmhouse with spacious and comfortable. Lounge with many books, a gem! Really good dinner. Farm on a hill surrounded by vineyards typical of the Langhe. I recommend it to anyone! In summer the outdoor swimming pool must be fantastic.

Apartments of good taste, the New Year's Eve dinner is more suited to a nouvelle cuisine restaurant that at a farm .. Those who expect full-bodied meats and dishes must deal with a taste of foie gras, fillet of duck sweet and savory combinations transparent and last but not least sipped digestive and demanded in a loud voice, that bad food I would say no more appropriate to the context

» [Bricco San Giovanni] reply: It is difficult to respond to such a comment so contradictory, when a single star to the position which is objectively known and very beautiful and housing when we say instead that it is tasteful. Even more surprising is the comment on the dinner, which carry a footnote, however, and that had previously been sent for information to the customer at the time of booking so knew exactly what he received. Of course New Year's Eve we tried to do something different and more attractive than our traditional Piedmontese menu. Everything was excellent and great quality, but there is always criticizing those who think that we can distinguish. New Year's Eve 2011 Glass of Prosecco with "Amuse Bouche" (Herb Goat drawstring strawberry, sprig of Bresalola). APPETIZERS 1) Carpaccio of veal in sauce meditterranea.2) prawns on a bed of asparagus with red pepper. 3) carrots and broccoli flan with cream of Robiola. 4) Puff pastry stuffed with lentils and sausage on a bed of fondue. 5) Roll Salmon marinated with its eggs. 6) Foie gras escalope with white onion sauce. FIRST: 1) crepes with wild mushrooms. 2) Pumpkin and potato soup with croutons. SECOND: duck with apples. SWEET: 1) Soufli nugatina cold. 2) New Year's stub. MIDNIGHT: A glass of sparkling wine Brut Classic Method (Gaslini Alberti), slice of panettone. WINE: Red (S. Giovanni Bricco frouttage Barbera / Merlot) White; Cortese Monferrato coffee and brandy, and various digestive.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Bricco Earlier this November and he HAD Most fantastic time. We felt at home right away. The rooms are spotless clean, tastefully furnished and the property is just really beautiful. We had perfect meals every evening and enjoyed a nice talk by the fireplace with a glass of the wine produced at the jug together with local. I would warmly recommend the jug to anyone and my family and I will definitely return again to visit Them.
