This farm house is located close to the village of Cocconato in the Monferrato area of the province of Asti. It is a convenient starting point from which to visit local sites of historic and artistic interest, to study the wines and wine production of the area, and to visit the towns and cities of Piedmont. It is not far from Turin (50 km). The site is also close to several renowned pilgrimage centres such as Colle Don Bosco the home of Saint G. Don Bosco founder of Salesiani (12 km), Santuario di Crea (12 Km) and Abbazia S.Maria Vezzolano (11km).
The Monferratos area of the Piedmont region of Italy, is renowned for its unspoilt peacefulness. The area is free from industry and is mainly agricultural (maize, corn, vegetables, fruit and, of course, vineyards) with open grassland and wooded areas. Livestock such as cows, sheep and chickens are also found. Honey, with flavours reflecting the great variety of flora, is produced locally.
Off-road paths and bridleways enhance the leisure aspects of the countryside. This is a hilly area with innumerable enchanting old castles, churches and country houses.

Cooperating with the Farmers syndicate "Riviera del Monferrato", allows Cascina Rosengana to employ their products in their own kitchen as well as offering a wide range of them to loving home. These are all specialities coming from selected farms and controlled production, including an excellent list of the best wines in the territory.
