The house manager, Maria Teresa, is a native Italian and came to Germany at 18 for university studies in interpreting and translation. She completed her studies in Munich where she is a state-certified interpreter and translator. She has taught for many years in language schools throughout Germany and works as a language consultant and interpreter for international firms and executives.Combine your holiday with an introduction to the Italian language or sign-up for an intensive course. Personalized courses of all types can be arranged.
The farmhouse is located in the Asti province of the Piedmont region. The "Terre d'Asti" is well known for its rolling hills, forests and vineyards. It makes up the green heart of Piedmont and is not yet overrun by tourism.
Renowned for its white truffles and annual truffle fair, the region's outstanding wines (Barolo, Barbera and Barbaresco) and sophisticated cuisine make for an intense cultural experience.
Countless roman churches and the baroque architecture of Turin are without a doubt among its highlights.
Turin alone is worth a trip and the Egyptian Museum is home to one of the most important international collections of ancient Egyptian art.
